Located in the heart of the city of Vancouver, Rustic Door is a fine dining restaurant, famous for its Mediterranean cuisine presenting a lively Mediterranean ambience hidden behind our door.
Design Goal: To develop a brand identity (logo, colour palette, and style guide), tri-fold menu, drinks menu and I-pad version of menu.
Brand: Rustic Door
Concept: For the menu re-brand, my inspiration was the vintage and opulent feel of the Mediterranean countries to attract high end customer. The idea is to show timeless, diverse and rich food of the Mediterranean from different countries of the region set in a dimly-lit atmosphere offering an authentic Mediterranean experience.
Brand Style Guide
The logo -a vintage door knob - is inspired by the carvings seen at the historical sites in the Mediterranean. The colour palette of deep blue green and gold ties in beautifully with the theme, rekindling the feel of the Mediterranean sea and the classical heritage of the region.

Typography: The goal was to create a classic look and the use of Spirax - a strong curved typeface with an elegant swirl edge - gives the logo an elegant feel for impactful branding.
Body text: Snell Roundhand paired with Garamond PremierPro typeface creates a clean and refined look. The aligned and ready to print layout stays consistent with the sumptuous and aesthetic theme.
