Created an inspiring fashion brand to raise awareness among young audience about sustainable design. Established and emerging fashion brands often use plastics and other non-biodegradable fibres, known to damage the environment at scale.
Design Goal: To develop a sustainable brand identity (logo, colour palette, and style guide), print and social advertisements aimed at a young audience (18-35yrs).
Constraint: Brand an innovative design concept while challenging fashion and consumer norms.
Brand: Non-toxic Trade
Concept:  Non Toxic Trade is a local Sustainable Fashion Store in Vancouver, BC that encourages quality over quantity. Locally produced garments with a low carbon footprint that strengthen the local economy is the USP of this brand.
I used the brand name Non Toxic as it has a blunt and in your face approach. In today’s time we need to act now in order to protect our environment. In my opinion it meets the needs of the target audience.

Colour Palette: The use of a natural earthy colour palette represents the colours of nature which are aesthetically pleasing for the viewer. The brand’s packaging and content is meant to be clean, simple, and natural. The visual language of the images conveys the idea of sharing sustainable garments portraying a mutual respect and concern for the environment.
Handouts
The consistency in branding is shown by promoting Slow Fashion with an aim to work hand in hand with nature. A minimalistic approach is used in the layouts to highlight the concept of reusable clothing. The services provided by the brand are CLOTHING FOR RENT, REPAIRS & RECYCLING OF OLD GARMENTS.
